Seamless Abutment by SA Solutions replaces traditional skirting boards and architrave trims with precision-engineered gypsum profiles that sit flush within the plasterboard build-up. The result is a clean shadow gap detail at the base of every wall and around every door frame – no plastic trim sitting on the surface, no dust traps, no visible fixings.

Our shadow gap skirting profiles are available in a range of sizes from 5mm to 12mm gap widths. For projects that require a material finish at skirting level, our rebated infill profile accepts a 3.5mm veneered insert in any material specified by the designer – timber, stone, metal or laminate.

Door surrounds are one of the hardest details to get right on site. Seamless Abutment architrave profiles solve this by breaking the detail into separate precision-made sections that butt-joint together cleanly. Skirting, architrave sides and head detail all fit together in a fraction of the time it takes with conventional aluminium extrusions – and the finished result is sharper than anything hand-made on site. No mitring is required because the detailing is built into the cast profile, delivering a crisp, seamless result with fire-rated and acoustically sound performance.
