The Challenge
Shadow gap skirting and framing profiles were required for a new modular building at Oxford Airport — profiles that had to be fitted within a factory environment before the modules were craned into position on site. The product had to survive the build process intact and perform without any on-site correction.
The Shadow Gap Solution
SA Solutions supplied flush skirting profiles with a timber veneer infill, fair end profiles to frame sliding glass doors, and single-glazed glass pocket profiles for the main reception. All profiles were installed factory-side before the modular units were connected on site.
The Result
No damage, no fatigue and no remedial works following installation — proving that SA Solutions profiles are robust enough for modular and off-site construction methods as well as traditional build programmes.
