- Skirting which would sit flush to the wall
- Successful due to the flexibility and efficiency of the SA product
- A truly seamless and aesthetically cleansing finish
SA Solutions were approached by Strategic Fusion who required the use of SA’s Seamless Abutment technology within its fit out of a new modular building for Oxford Airport.
The job required a skirting which would sit flush to the wall, which was provided through the use of the SA-15 skirting profile. A separate 3.5mm timber infill was also included within the skirting, which in this case included a fumed oak veneer. The veneer was installed once the building was at site and connected.
This alternative method of fitting the product within a factory environment was very successful due to the flexibility and efficiency of the SA product. There were no signs of damage or fatigue, despite being craned in to place. The SA-10 fair end profiles were also used as a way of framing the sliding glass doors, and the SA-3 single glazed glass pocket were included within the main reception. Again, the inclusion of SA Solutions’ seamless abutment technology resulted in a truly seamless and aesthetically cleansing finish.
