The Challenge
Converting a two-storey retail space into a high-end Medi Spa required flush, shadow gap junctions throughout — door frames, wall heads, skirting lines and glass pocket details all had to read with the same level of precision to achieve the clinical aesthetic the brief demanded.
The Shadow Gap Solution
SA Solutions supplied shadow gap architrave profiles around door frames, a purpose-built corner detail at the wall head creating a 20mm shadow gap whilst also providing an acoustic break to the MF ceiling, and skirting profiles to define the resin floor perimeter with precision. Glass doors were framed using separate fins with glass pocketed into SA Solutions profiles.
The Result
A seamless, clinical finish that satisfied both the aesthetic and acoustic requirements of the space — with shadow gap detailing that eliminated the inconsistency and visible joins of traditional beading.
